Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Soon after, she moved to Texas where she pursued a training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas before moving into Orlando Florida where she experienced numerous acting roles which included independent local films as well as worldwide commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew for the art of acting even in small roles. When she moved into New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first role as an actor in the show All My Children. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi.
