Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Her most acclaim was for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she was the lead character in the feature film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by the parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. There is also a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her speech was the valedictory for her class during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. It was the second time that it was because she wanted to be a part of Nashville. Peeples starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally and Ally Austin & Ally & Ally & (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) & NecessaryRoughness (1991) as the Guest Star. She appeared on television on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. The actress was cast in a major recurring role in the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed that she has bipolar disorder in an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has ranked Peeples as the highest on its list of best actors under the age of twenty-one in September of 2014.
